Dark Denim Tunic

It's great writing a post here after a nice Thanksgiving break.  I didn't get a whole of sewing done over the break but did you see my #memade top that I posted on my Instagram?  I just love how it turned out and will be posting about it here very soon.  Anyway, on to this great chambray tunic that I sewed up for the fall.

Fall Floral Knit Tunic

I just love making all types of cold weather clothes lately, however I just wish it would stay cold long enough here in Austin so I can wear them!  Well, as I'm sewing all these pretty new fall/winter makes, I am trying to keep in mind layers!  Yes, since the weather here is so up and down I want to try to be able to have things that would work with or without a jacket, wearing something underneath or have it look cute with a light layer over it.  Plus comfort is always key.

Red Flutter Sleeve Top

I think I'm all recovered from the Halloween candy, allergies and rain we've had this week.  So I'm ready to share this beautiful Chalk and Notch pattern that I made a few weeks ago.  This pattern is called the Farrah Blouse and Dress, I made the blouse version so I could pair it with long pants during the cooler months.  I plan to make the dress version in the spring.  I love how this top turned out.
