Chambray Capris with McCalls 7726

It's been a hot minute since I've posted on here, the summer sure did fly by! While I didn't make that many new makes, I was able to motivate myself to finish projects that had been sitting on my sewing table that were already cut out. One of these was the high waisted pants/short pattern McCalls 7726.

Tied Blouse with Simplicity 8601

I've been on a mini sewing hiatus due to a new part-time job, but I can't complain because my new gig is fun, easy and I'm earning some money! Yay! The downside is I don't have as much time to sew. In the evening, if I'm not working it's been difficult to find the motivation to sew or just taking some photos of my new makes. I am happy to share this recently "me-made" top using Simplicity 8601.

Two Sweatshirts with McCall's 7688

My Birthday Dress With Simplicity 8414

I'm so excited to share my "me made" dress today, which is this Cynthia Rowley pleated dress Simplicity 8414!  This is a popular pattern that I saw all over Instagram in various peoples pattern hauls as soon it was released.  I decided to pick it up too on a pattern sale.  The details looked intricate and I couldn't really wrap my head around what was involved.  But I decided to go for it because I loved the shape and style of this dress.
